The Caribbean Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Association

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is the fastest growing Martial Arts worldwide and it has become so popular with average people, police and military everywhere because it is a realistic self-defence method that allows a smaller person to control a larger attacker without any kicks or punches.
We want to make sure that BJJ students can find each other in the Caribbean and based on our other successful schools we are here to help you build your own successful school wherever you live!

Are You Unable to Find A School To Train?

Building your own successful BJJ school:

If you are love Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and you want to build your own successful school, then we will be able to help you here.

If you are a Martial Artist, then you already know how much time, energy, and commitment you have dedicated to your training. Nothing in the world can replace the amount of time you put into your training. Not only did you invest thousands of dollars towards your training, but you also dedicated thousands of hours in travel, classes, seminars, studying videos, competing in tournaments, and more.

That’s why you are the perfect person to run your own Martial Arts school as an owner. You may have already what it takes to teach classes, but the question is if you have the skills and knowledge to successfully built and run your own Martial Arts gym because teaching is one thing but operating your own school is a whole different ball game.

You need to have business skills to run a business. Just because you know Jiu-Jitsu and other Martial Arts and can teach a class, that doesn’t necessarily mean you should go into business yourself if you don’t have the skills required to run a successful school. You may be a black belt at your Martial Arts but you are a white belt in business.

In the many years that I have been successfully running my own Martial Arts schools, I have seen Martial Artists invest tens of thousands of dollars by mortgaging their own house, using all their life savings, maxing out all their credit cards and even loan money from friends and relatives only to open up their own schools.

They are putting a place together and expecting customers to flock through the doors from day one. But, that’s not quite how it turns out and many of them disappear within a few years. The truth is that only very few Martial Arts schools are actually making money and all the rest are turning into nightmare 80-hour-a-week-jobs for their owners, jobs they can never quit, and businesses they can never sell.

How we can help you:

Fortunately, there’s a very simple, affordable, and effective way to fix this, allowing your Martial Arts school to grow, be successful and build a solid reputation.

I’ve started and operated five successful Martial Arts schools and have many students that are operating now their own schools, doing what they love to do and I can help you to get started too.

There are so many things you need including a name for your business, finding a location, negotiating your lease, designing a logo, website, business cards, social media sites, flyers, brochures and so on.

You’ll need to know how to advertise and market your school, where to buy equipment at wholesale prices, who to design all your own marketing materials, you’ll need waivers, contracts, systems and so many other things that listing them all would easily overwhelm the average person to the point that they will quit before they ever started.

That’s why I am here to help. I have over decades of experience running my own five BJJ schools successfully and I know how to get all those things done cheaply, efficiently, and best of all: done by others so you can focus on your school all of the time.

As Martial Artists, we are creating tremendous value to the world around us.

That’s why I want to help you become successful.

I know exactly what it takes to run a successful realistic Martial Arts school because I have decades of experience, but also because I have also invested thousands and thousands of dollars and hours in my education so that I have extensive knowledge on what I need to do, and how to do it and I am happy to show you too.

Let's build your school together!

We will help you develop the right business and personal mindset to succeed in this business. You can learn any skill, and you can have any success… as long as you are willing to put in the hours and let go of your ego long enough to take a step back so you can actually learn how to be successful.

Just like any white belt BJJ student, if your mind is closed and you are not open to learning new things, then you are going to struggle. I am here to help you, I will steer you in the right direction and answer your questions, including :

  • How to create an attractive brand name and logo
  • How to select the right space in the right location
  • How to launch successful new programs and create cost-effective scheduling
  • How to deal with business partners and coaches
  • How to negotiate leases and equipment purchases
  • How to select the right employee and how to pay them
  • many more topics

My job is to help you succeed and get you on the right track from day one. I’m going to give you all the information you need to get there. I know what works and I know what doesn’t work. Running a successful Martial Arts school is a lot like preparing for a fight. Everything has it’s place and time and it takes the right plan to make everything come together.

Most school owners just experiment with anything they see, they “try” this and dabble with that, copying others in hopes that whatever they are copying will work for them too. But that’s not how it works. You need a solid system in place. Don’t fall victim to this strategy. Here’s what you really need:

  1. A logical strategy that tells you what to do, and when to do it
  2. Course curriculums help you to run well-organized classes at all times
  3. Complete sales procedures to help you sign up many students successfully
  4. A marketing plan that tells you how and when to market your school
  5. A reliable and professional coach that can answer your questions

Your success is our success. When we can help new students find a school that offers professional, friendly BJJ classes then we all win. That’s why you’ll know that we truly care about your success. I’ll never ask you to pay for our help yourself. If students see the value of the association then they will become members and pay for our time.
